Active Portfolio Management: A Quantitative Approach for Producing Superior Returns and Selecting Superior Returns and Controlling Risk

The WQU Bookstore is an online resource created to make it easier for our students to obtain the textbooks and materials needed to complete WQU courses. All textbooks and materials offered through the WQU Bookstore are available in digital format. WQU does not require a single upfront payment for books and materials. Rather, students pay for books and materials as they proceed through the MScFE program.

WQU is working to make the MScFE program even more affordable for students. Starting in the January 2018 academic session, the transition to the use of open source textbooks in our courses will begin. WQU is excited for this change, as there is no cost to students for the use of designated open source textbooks.

Full integration of open source textbooks will take place over several academic sessions. Until this change is fully implemented, some courses will continue to require textbooks and materials that must be purchased by students.

When complete, this change to open source textbooks will substantially reduce, and hopefully eliminate, the cost of textbooks and materials used in WQU courses.

Please be aware that students are not required to purchase textbooks or materials from the WQU Bookstore. The specified textbooks and materials may be obtained from other local or online book sellers or a library. When using a resource other than the WQU Bookstore to obtain textbooks and materials, please be sure to obtain the specific title and edition listed in the course syllabus.

The WQU Bookstore accepts payments via major credit and debit cards bearing a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, or UnionPay logo. PayPal can also be used to make Bookstore purchases. Students will receive an email with instructions for accessing books or materials purchased within 1-2 business days of an order being submitted.

All materials in the WQU Bookstore are available in digital formats only. Textbooks are offered on a 90-180 day or longer, digital usage basis. Students should only purchase textbooks for their current course, as materials in courses are subject to change.

If you need assistance, please email WQU Student Support. ([email protected]) For questions about payment transactions, contact the WQU Bookstore team. ([email protected])

The WQU Bookstore is intended for the use WQU students only. However, third parties can purchase materials on behalf of a student. Individuals purchasing books or materials for a student will be asked to provide the student’s name during the checkout process.

Any unauthorized use by non-students will result in the forfeiture of access to the digital assets without refund.
